Excel to fly year-round from Nottingham East Midlands airport

Excel Airways is introducing 4 routes next winter, that will mean it will fly year-round from Nottingham East Midlands Airport. The airline is to offer flights to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Sharm el Sheikh in winter 2006-07, in addition to 18 routes operated from the airport in the summer.
Nottingham East MIdlands airport's sales and marketing general manager, Caroline Plant, said: 'We have 16 new destinations this summer. We are adding new routes and facilities all the time. It's about giving our customers the very best service we can offer and maintaining our position as the Midlands' favourite airport offering over 90 destinations worldwide throughout the year'.
