New Leicester - Airport bus route

A new bus service is has been launched between East Midlands Airport and Leicester, the Cheapflights.co.uk website reports.
Funded by the Department for Transport and the East Midlands Development Agency, the Leicester Skylink service will be officially launched tomorrow (Friday). Leaving St Margaret's bus station hourly, the service costs £5 for a 24-hour return ticket and the travel time is around 50 minutes. The bus also stops at Braunstone.
It is hoped that the bus route will encourage more passengers to use public transport and ease congestion around the airport.
