Ryanair announces 10 new routes

Ryanair announced yesterday that it will launch 10 new routes from its East Midlands airport base early next year. The low-cost airline will launch flights to Alghero, Bratislava, Granada, Inverness, Knock, Krakow, Milan, Pisa, Santiago and Valencia from February 2007, bringing the total number of Ryanair routes from East Midlands Airport to 27 and delivering half a million additional passengers a year.
A spokesman sadi: 'With these 10 new destinations, Ryanair has increased five-fold the number of passengers it carries to/from East Midlands in under a year, while the number of routes has grown from 5 to 27, making Ryanair the largest airline at Nottingham East Midlands Airport.'
