First Choice announce new Cuba flights

First Choice has announced a new route between East Midlands Airport and Cuba, the cheapflights.co.uk website reports. The holiday airline will launch a service from to Varadero's Juan Gualberto Gomez Airport, which also serves the province of Matanzas, with fortnightly flights beginning on May 13, 2007.
Prospective holidaymakers can look forward to an 'exotic blend of rich culture' and will also be able to sample the 'magnificent coral reefs, turquoise waters and powder white shores,' according to an airport spokesman.
First Choice is offering both traditional package breaks and twin centre holidays with the flights. Prices start at £849, which is based on two adults staying at the Barcelo Solymar resort on the Varadero beach.
